Springtime is not about death. But funerals come when they may. A few have come in succession as lilies were blooming.
Many scratch their heads trying to imagine the “other side.” Sometimes, an everyday portal to heaven is needed to stop us from scratching our head.
And so it happened as I was crawling under the porch where it was dark and coffin-like that God gave me hope about “the other side.”
They had never been there before, but some lilies of the valley had “crossed over” and decided to excel on the other side of the lattice. (See photo above.)
Spring always gets its way.
PORTAL TO HEAVEN: Faith stretches us to see the unseen, but God has a way of verifying it anyway.
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken.”…‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”
Matthew 22:32 NASB Mark 12:27 NASB
