The water tower far below the airplane’s wing looks like a tiny prop in a child’s train display.
It might hold a million gallons to service its community.
From our perspective on the ground, most would not dare to climb its dizzying heights.
Like the reserves in a water tower, we labor to assure ourselves of provision. Whether it’s a 401K or a child’s college education fund or a real estate holding, we look up to such lofty goals.
But all that we put on such a high pedestal is but a speck when observed by The One who looks down on seven billion “Nervous Nellies.”
PORTAL TO HEAVEN: It’s imperative to have two perspectives.
You gave them water for their thirst…the country was filled with water…Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink…I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.
