"I Voted For The Right Person."

ABOVE: The lines started before 6 a.m.

In a temporal sense, the 2020 Presidential Election will have some effect on our lives. But there is a vote we must cast daily. We get the voter I.D. when we accept the invitation to a country without borders: the kingdom of God. Indeed, it is a sacred kingdom and it’s a sacred vote. Because the kingdom is within and without, the vote is cast constantly. Every saint knows the choices within control much of the way we act. That, in turn, helps build the kingdom without. Sometimes, our vote is as simple as an acknowledgement of The King. To ask oneself, “How many times did I not vote in something as basic as a conversation or as complex as faith that must be intertwined with regional and national issues?” It may not be sidestepping to tell rude friends who prod you for an answer as to who you voted for that you cast your ballot for The King. PORTAL TO HEAVEN: Every waking hour is a chance to honor Jesus Christ. But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:15,16
