Broken plans.
These can often lead to broken hearts.
Faced with something not going “our” way, we could learn a little from the “two-miracle-helmet-catch-broken-play” in the final minute of Super Bowl XLII.
The first miracle was that New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was all but on the ground with not one but two opponents grabbing his jersey. He somehow escaped the defense to throw to David Tyree.
Broken play.
The second miracle in one play was when Tyree catches it and brings it down on his helmet.
Only The Lord knows how that all happened.
Perhaps it was to impress upon all of us that broken plans can still win in the game of life.
PORTAL TO HEAVEN: Scripture tells us that planning is good. It also tells us to trust in any situation.
The mind of a person plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps…The mind of a person plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps…You have turned my mourning into dancing for me...
